Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has announced the date sheet 2013 of 8th class and exams will start from Feb 07, 2013 while the date
for declaration of 8th class result is March 31, 2013.
There are eight educational boards which conduct 5th and 8th class
exams. These are Lahore Board, Gujranwala Board, Faisalabad board,
Multan Board, Rawalpindi Board, Sargodha Board, Bahawalpur Board and DG
Khan Board.
Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) is an authoritative body for conducting examination of 5th and 8th grade students in the Punjab Province. PEC is set up by the Government of Punjab and starts functioning in 2005 and conducted 8th grade examinations first time in the Punjab Province in 2006.
PEC develops tests, gets them printed for districts. The districts administer mark the test and PEC prepares results for each district. Around 2-5 millions 5th and 8th grade students both from public and private sector schools appear in examination every year.
Punjab Examination Commission issues roll numbers and sends to the districts for verification. After verification and changes made by the districts PEC issues final Roll Number Slips to each district and they further delivered to schools and private candidates.
PEC usually announces 8th class result in the end of March and it is expected that result of 8th grade would be announced on March 31, 2013 but this is not confirm date for declaration of annual exam’s result.
