Punjab University
usually announces its MA/MSc annual examination’s date sheet a month
before the commencement of examination. PU would announce date sheet for
MA/MSc annual examinations 2013 in the month of June and exams would
start from July 2013.
The University of the Punjab
was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of
higher learning in Pakistan. It was the first to be established in the
sub-continent in Muslim majority area. It is an authoritative body for
conducing undergraduate, graduate and post graduate examinations under
different faculties. Punjab University has its two main campuses in
Lahore while two sub campus at Gujranwala and Khanspur.
The University comprises of 4 Campuses, 13
Faculties, 10 Constituent Colleges, over 63 Departments, Centres,
Institutes, and 500+ affiliated colleges. It has over 730 permanent
faculty members involved in teaching/research and over 30,000 on campus
students. Annually there are about 350 exams for over 450,000 students.
Every year thousands of students apply for BA/BSc, B.Com and MA/MSc examination.
The University has set itself to offer innovative programs of applied
nature that will satisfy the needs of students and employers in relation
to the knowledge driven age of technology.
