Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bannu was set up in 1990 after bifurcation it from the BISE Peshawar. BISE Bannu has the mandate to conduct matric and inter exams of all schools and colleges of this city and other cities like DI Khan, Lakki Marwat, Tank, North and South Waziristan agencies.
Bannu board has also assigned the duties to conduct the inter and matric exams on due time and also issue their respective results at the specific times.
