FDE Islamabad which is known as Federal directorate of Education was established in 1967 in Islamabad. FDE gives an appropriate atmosphere to the students for teaching and learning on academic excellence, surging desire for skill, tolerance and compassion, develop a sense of purpose and high achievement. FDE also envisages generating and sustaining potential to our students, nurturing core values, developing dynamic and productive Pakistanis. It's aim to improve quality of education by giving necessary training and other related activities. Fde results of secondary and higher secondary school examinations are announced in March every year.
