There are: Lahore Board, Gujranwala Board, Multan Board, Faisalabad Board, Sargodha Board, Rawalpindi Board, Bhawalpur Board, Dera Ghazi Khan Board and Sahiwal Board. All the affairs of the boards are regulate by the governing body which is comprised of Chairman, Vice Chancellor of the university, all Executive District Officers (Education), Director of Technical Education, Punjab, Lahore or his nominee and other executive bodies. The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore is determined hard to enhance the quality of education in the country.
