n 1974, The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Karachi (Karachi Board)
started its working as a commanding body for conducting matriculation
and intermediate examinations. It conducts examination within its
jurisdiction and the present areas under its umbrella are jurisdiction
of Karachi Cantt., Clifton Cantt., and Manora Cantt of Civil District of
Karachi.
BISE Karachi announces date sheets for matric and inter exams a month before the exams commencement. BISE Karachi conducts its matric examination in March and Inter exams in April. Announcements of matric and results are usually made in July, August and September respectively.
