The result of matric and inter annual exams 2014 will be announced by Lahore Board according to prescribed time schedule. For the year 2014 the Matric annual exams were commenced in the start of March. The board conducted the matric exam separately while the annual exams of Intermediate for part 1 and part 2 were organized in the month of May 2014. BISE Lahore Board is functioning since 1954 as a commanding board for the provision of education to all the linked areas. There are five jurisdictive parts of BISE Lahore and these are districts Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. The exams are organized for these areas every year and annual exams for the year 2014 were also commenced for Matric part 1 and part 2 and Intermediate Part 1 and part 2 in the month of March and May respectively. In addition to secondary and higher secondary education the board also organized the exams for CT, PTC and OT courses. The duration of these courses is one year.

AIOU announces results of FA Spring 2013 semester

ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the final results of its FA programme for the Spring 2013 semester and placed the results on its website: www.aiou.edu.pk.

occasion, Controller of Exams (CE) Dr Hamid Khan Niazi, Computer Section In-charge Shabnum N Shahid and senior officers of the examination department were also present.
After announcement of the results, the vice-chancellor instructed the CE to prepare a wide-ranging plan to set-up exams centres in the country’s far-flung and remote regions in order to ensure availability of academic facilities at the nearest places of students.
In this connection, he said that he would hold a meeting with the CE and senior officers of the examination department by next week to finalise the plan of setting up examination centres in every nook and corner of the country before the next term.
The CE said that result cards of FA students were being sent by post to all the candidates, and that the students who do not receive their result cards until January 30 should contact the superintendent of examination in person or on his phone numbe.
The students can also download their results from website www.aiou.edu.pk of the university.
While briefing the vice-chancellor, the CE said that 163,899 students from across the country appeared in FA exams and various examination centres had been set-up.
He further said that assignment marks of all the students enrolled in BA programme for the Spring 2013 semester had also been provided on the university’s website. He advised the students to check their assignment marks, and if there was any error or complaint, they should bring it to the notice of the BA section of the examination department immediately for its rectification. He said that final results of the BA programme would be declared within two weeks.

BISE Lahore Board Matric and Intermediate Results

BISE Lahore Board is responsible to hold matric and intermediate exams for its jurisdictive areas. Every year it conducts the matric exams in March and declares the result in July while intermediate exams in May and announce the result in August or September. In the year 1954 the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Lahore was originated to organize the matric and inter exams. Now the board holds the secondary, higher secondary, Pakistani & Classical Languages. In 1955 Lahore board organizes first time SSC and HSSC exams across the region. When the board was came into being it was responsible to hold the exams for Punjab, Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. The board was also with the authority to conduct overseas exams in Kuwait and Nairobi (Kenya).

Now Lahore Board conducts exams for districts Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. Lahore board is the best and major board among all the Punjab boards. Students living in Lahore and concerned areas prefer to appear in the exams through BISE Lahore because of its fair and transparent way of examination. The Chairman is the main authority of the Board and contains all the administrative and organizational authorities. Under his supervision two main authorizes functions which are Secretary and the Controller of Examinations.
