AIOU announces results of FA Spring 2013 semester


ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the final results of its FA programme for the Spring 2013 semester and placed the results on its website: www.aiou.edu.pk.

occasion, Controller of Exams (CE) Dr Hamid Khan Niazi, Computer Section In-charge Shabnum N Shahid and senior officers of the examination department were also present.
After announcement of the results, the vice-chancellor instructed the CE to prepare a wide-ranging plan to set-up exams centres in the country’s far-flung and remote regions in order to ensure availability of academic facilities at the nearest places of students.
In this connection, he said that he would hold a meeting with the CE and senior officers of the examination department by next week to finalise the plan of setting up examination centres in every nook and corner of the country before the next term.
The CE said that result cards of FA students were being sent by post to all the candidates, and that the students who do not receive their result cards until January 30 should contact the superintendent of examination in person or on his phone numbe.
The students can also download their results from website www.aiou.edu.pk of the university.
While briefing the vice-chancellor, the CE said that 163,899 students from across the country appeared in FA exams and various examination centres had been set-up.
He further said that assignment marks of all the students enrolled in BA programme for the Spring 2013 semester had also been provided on the university’s website. He advised the students to check their assignment marks, and if there was any error or complaint, they should bring it to the notice of the BA section of the examination department immediately for its rectification. He said that final results of the BA programme would be declared within two weeks.
