BISE Lahore Board Matric and Intermediate ResultsBISE Lahore Board is responsible to hold matric and intermediate exams for its jurisdictive areas. Every year it conducts the matric exams in March and declares the result in July while intermediate exams in May and announce the result in August or September. So this year too the result of intermediate exams will be declared in August/September 2013. The matric result has been declared and now inter students are waiting for the result. Once the board will declare the result it will be updated here and on the respective pages as well.
In the year 1954 the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Lahore was originated to organize the matric and inter exams. Initially the conduction of matric and inter examination was the responsibility of Punjab University. Later on with the establishment of Lahore board this authority was transferred to BISE Lahore. Now the board holds the secondary, higher secondary, Pakistani & Classical Languages. In 1955 Lahore board organizes first time SSC and HSSC exams across the region. When the board was came into being it was responsible to hold the exams for Punjab, Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. The board was also with the authority to conduct overseas exams in Kuwait and Nairobi (Kenya).
Now Lahore Board conducts exams for districts Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. Lahore board is the best and major board among all the Punjab boards. Students living in Lahore and concerned areas prefer to appear in the exams through BISE Lahore because of its fair and transparent way of examination. The Chairman is the main authority of the Board and contains all the administrative and organizational authorities. Under his supervision two main authorizes functions which are Secretary and the Controller of Examinations.
