The University
The ETH Zurich comprises almost 100 institutes and laboratories, more than 350 professorships and about 850 lecturers. More than 8,000 faculty and staff members work in teaching, research and administration, and 14,000 students are registered. Each year about 2,400 students and 800 doctoral candidates receive their degree from the ETH Zurich.
The Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (D-MTEC), an academic department of the ETH Zurich, offers this unique Executive MBA program, designed to confer leading-edge knowledge and skills for mastering business operations in the global economy. The D-MTEC is a member of the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).
The Executive MBA faculty includes more than 20 professors and lecturers, not only from the ETH Zurich but also from other world-renowned universities and schools. They are among the leading academic teachers in their fields.

The Program
Executive MBA in Supply Chain Management
This program combines broad education in general management and leadership with in-depth studies in international supply chain management. It is a 18-month program, starting in September every year. It consists of the following four blocks (sets of modules):
- General Management
- Global Economy
- Supply Chain Management
- Master Thesis
This program will teach the students the skills for:
Mastering Business Operations in the Global Economy.
Key features of the program are:
- A unique combination of general management studies plus in-depth focus on international
supply chain management
- Executive level instruction to prepare for future leadership roles
- A fully English-medium program - in the global business language
- Part-time attendance on-campus in Zurich enables executives to remain on the job for the duration of the 18-month program
- Core lectures are on-campus in Zurich, Switzerland, complemented by onsite study modules in Russia, the USA, and Asia
- Regular VIP speakers, usually European executives, provide dialogues on current topics in their industries
- A thesis project requires that learnings be applied to an actual problem in the student's own company
The ETH Zurich cooperates with the Forum-SCM for the design of the curriculum, the selection of lecturers and the organization of study trips and company visits. The Forum-SCM is an association of globally focused companies in industry, trade, logistics and consulting services.
This program has EFMD/EPAS accreditation.
This program is for part-time study, so that students can continue to work in their organizations. Total duration is 18 months. During the first 12 months, lectures are held in Zurich (usually twice a month, from Thursday morning to Sunday afternoon) and study trips are made to Russia, the USA and Asia. The last six months are dedicated to the Master Thesis.

Student Profile
Students are typically members of middle or senior management in an industrial, trading, logistics or consulting company. It is their aim to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills enabling them:
- to successfully manage an international business;
- to design global supply chain strategies for sustainable competitive advantage;
- to cooperate effectively with business partners in multiple countries;
- to improve market responsiveness and cost efficiency of complex supply chains.
Admission Requirements
- University degree (Master, or Bachelor with excellent marks);
- Five years of work experience;
- Management experience;
- Proficient in business English;
- Assessment interview with admissions committee members.
The number of students per class (year) is limited to 25. The ETH Zurich reserves the right to select students based on their academic, professional and personal merits.

Step 2 Based on your application, we will decide whether or not to invite you to an assessment interview in Zurich.
Step 3: An assessment interview with admissions committee members will be held in Zurich (or in exceptional cases by phone) for about one hour. At the same time we need original hard copies of your university certificates so that we can “officially verify” the copies we received from you.
Step 4: Based on the information received from you and the results of the assessment interview, we will make the final admission decision and communicate it to you by official letter.
Step 5: If you do not withdraw in writing within 21 days from date of the admission letter, you will be officially registered.

Tuition and Fees
CHF 65’000 (CHF 60’000 for early registration by end February)Payment terms:
To guarantee your seat in the incoming class, a pre-payment of CHF 10000 is requested within 30 days after receiving the admissions letter.
The rest of the payment is in two installments; first installment of CHF 22500 (CHF 17500) in October; second installment of CHF 32 500 in the following April.
Included:Lecture sessions and course materials; accommodation, half-board and local transportation during the USA, Asia and Russia trips.
Not included: All long-haul flights to the USA, Asia and Russia, transportation and accommodation in Europe
Financial Aid
Residents of EU countries and Switzerland can be helped to obtain study loans at favorable conditions. Scholarships are not offered.Location

Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland and the main commercial and cultural center.
The campus is centrally located and easily reachable by public transport, only 10 minutes from the central railway station and 30 minutes from Zurich airport.
Accommodation
