BOOKING FORMPROGRAMME
Overview:

The UK Cyber Security Strategy (2011) identifies higher education as a strategic national asset that is vulnerable to various forms of cyber-crime. The cyber threat is highly relevant for universities seeking to protect their intellectual property, reputations and institutional systems from theft and damage. However, cyber security can often be thought of solely as an IT issue, rather than a strategic management concern.
On the second anniversary of the Cyber Security Strategy, this conference aims to build on existing knowledge and practice in the higher education sector and beyond, and to explore how institutions can develop effective and proportionate management responses to the cyber security threat.
