ON-CAMPUS OPPORTUNITIES
INFORMATION SESSION AND CAMPUS TOUR: Information sessions and campus tours are offered on select weekdays and a limited number of Saturdays throughout the year. View theAdmissions Events Calendar for specific dates and times. No advance registration is taken—simply check in at the Office of Admissions 10 minutes prior to the start of the information session. Information sessions last 45 minutes and are led by an admissions staff member. Sessions review academics, admissions and financial aid. Afterwards, a 75-minute student-guided campus tour highlights topics such as housing, dining, academics and extracurricular activities.
SPECIAL GROUPS: Campus tours and information sessions for groups of fifteen or more are offered Monday through Friday and are available to groups of students enrolled in 9th-12th grade. Groups should make arrangements by completing the online registration form at least three weeks prior to their visit to Lehigh.
ENGINEERING TOURS: Lehigh (General) Engineering Tours provide an overview of Lehigh's engineering disciplines while the Specialty Engineering Tours delve significantly deeper into specific fields. Both tours demonstrate the University's hands-on approach to education and show some of the facilities of the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science. (General) Engineering Tours are held on various Mondays and Fridays throughout the year, while additional Specialty Engineering Tours are offered during one week in the Spring and one week in the Fall. INTEGRATED DEGREE IN ENGINEERING, ARTS AND SCIENCES (IDEAS) INFORMATION SESSIONS: This information session is specifically about Lehigh's Integrated Degree in Engineering, Arts, and Sciences (IDEAS) program, a unique opportunity to combine multiple programs of study in Lehigh's College of Arts and Sciences and the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science. Sessions are offered on select days throughout the year. Please use the Admissions Events Calendar to view specific dates and times.
INTEGRATED BUSINESS AND ENGINEERING (IBE) INFORMATION SESSIONS: Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) is a highly selective, four-year, interdisciplinary honors program that develops competencies in both engineering and business. This program recognizes the need for today’s leaders in business and industry to have a sound foundation in both commerce and technology. IBE prepares students to assume leadership roles in industrial research and development, entrepreneurial initiatives, management consulting, high-tech ventures, and innovative technology. COMPUTER SCIENCE AND BUSINESS (CSB) INFORMATION SESSIONS: These information sessions specific to the Computer Science and Business (CSB) program inform visitors about Lehigh’s 4-year integration of the study of computer science and the study of business in a single program. CSB prepares students not only for careers either in software or business, but also for unique cross-cutting opportunities that require expertise in both computing and in business, including forensic accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and risk management. Information sessions on Lehigh's CSB program take place on select Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year. Please use the Admissions Events Calendar to view specific dates and times.
SOUTH MOUNTAIN COLLEGE INFORMATION SESSIONS:Join us for an overview of this College of Arts and Sciences program designed to enhance student-driven learning. In South Mountain College, you don’t just take classes, you actively help design them. Students and faculty members select an overarching theme on which to focus and the options are endless from there. Students choose from one of the many majors available in the College of Arts and Sciences and CAS distribution requirements are fulfilled through SMC’s interdisciplinary study. The South Mountain College information sessions will be held on October 14, November 7 and December 6. Please use the Admissions Events Calendar to view more specific information.
INTERVIEWS: Informal interviews with a representative from the Office of Admissions are available to high school juniors/rising high school seniors and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments are required and must be scheduled at least one day in advance by calling (610) 758-3100. Interviews are designed for students who have specific questions they would like answered about Lehigh. All interviews are evaluative but not required for admission.
