For Undergraduates: Results - Summer 2013

All Students

All exams results will be published on the University web pages on Thursday 11 July 2013 from 10:00 am. You can view your results on your Interactive Transcript which you should access from the Online Student Services area of your Student Portal. You will not require a separate username or password, you can gain access using your standard University username and password. These arrangements do not apply to visiting/exchange students currently studying at Lancaster. In your case your exam results are sent directly to your home University by our International Office.

Part I

To proceed to Part II you must pass all three Part I subjects obtaining a minimum of 10.3 in your major subject plus at least 9 in each element, and 9 in your other subjects. There are, however, some subjects that require more than one pass at 10.3 and if you are uncertain about the requirements of your scheme of study you should check with your director of studies.

Part II 2nd year

Part II second year results will be confirmed by the Committee of the Senate on Tuesday 9 July 2013. The results shall also be reported to the Part II Board of Examiners in your final year. The University's regulations require that all Part II work shall be finally assessed in the academic session in which it is studied. If you fail any units, the re-assessment is compulsory and shall take place during the resit period for that year. Following the re-assessment to proceed to the next year, you must achieve an overall aggregation score of 9 with no more than 30 credits condoned. No module may be condoned with an aggregation score of less than 4, nor may any module be condoned if a students has not attempted re-assessment.

Final Year

Provisional results will be released in departments shortly after the relevant board of examiners has met. Results are provisional until ratified by the Committee of the Senate of the University that will meet on Tuesday 9 July 2013.
If you wish to challenge your degree classification you will need to follow the procedure laid down here.
Degrees will be conferred at ceremonies to be held on 14 - 18 July 2013 (inc). Degree Certificates and Transcripts will be available for collection on the day of your degree ceremony. Any documents not collected during ceremonies week will be posted out to the home address we have on record for you during the week commencing 22 July 2013. You can check and update your address information by going to the Online Student Services area of the Student Portal.
