Mechanical engineering in Paris

Associated with the CFAI MECAVENIR, and in partnership with the ITII Île-de-France, the mechanical engineering specialization trains multidisciplinary engineers through apprenticeship; engineers apt for the operational management of complex and innovative projects in the field of mechanics. These graduates, with their broad knowledge and skills in design, development, production, quality control and maintenance, are capable of running industrial projects in their entirety within innovative SMEs and large corporations. Classes are designed around inductive teaching, team projects, international experience and foreign language learning.

Careers
Mechanical engineering graduates are able to grasp industrial activity in its entirety and to manage multidisciplinary teams. With their initial training in management and cost control, they can occupy positions such as development engineer, project engineer, process engineer, quality engineer, etc., in various sectors: mechanics, automobile, aeronautics, metallurgy industries, etc.
Organization
This is a three year course with apprenticeship component. Students alternate between internship and university every fortnight. Wages are between 41% and 78% of the minimum wage.
Well-targeted public
Students having successfully completed 2 years of tertiary education: industrial BTS/ DUT, 2nd or 3rd year bachelor of science or equivalent.
